## How QR Links and Verification Tokens Work

Every digital certificate issued directly through Akdeniz Kariyer is assigned a document code and a separate unique verification URL embedded in its QR code. A reviewer can either scan the QR code printed on the certificate to open the verification URL directly or enter the document code into our public verification form.

When a programme is delivered and certified directly by an external partner provider, credential verification follows that provider's own verification channel. Reviewers should always check the issuer name and verification instructions shown on the document itself.

## Privacy by Design and Minimal Data Disclosure

Credential verification must balance authenticity checks with strict personal data privacy. Our public verification endpoint displays only the minimal verification details needed to confirm whether a credential record is valid. We do not publish a public directory of learners, and we do not allow open look-ups by participant name, email address, or national identifier.
