TRAINING PROGRAMME
Carbon Footprint Specialist Certificate Programme
Measure carbon emissions and turn data into reports. A 60-hour practical programme covering ISO 14064-1, ISO 14067 and CBAM. Includes two certificates.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
A step towards your goals.
A 60-hour specialist programme for participants who want to develop skills in calculating, analysing, reporting and reducing business greenhouse gas emissions.
Delivered by Akdeniz Kariyer, the programme connects the needs of manufacturing, energy, export and sustainability teams with data collection and practical Excel calculations. The goal is to calculate an example business carbon footprint and prepare a sample report within the ISO 14064-1 framework.
Focus on current business needs
Explore organisational and product carbon footprints, the GHG Protocol, Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and emission reduction strategies. The programme also addresses data preparation and reporting needs for the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
CBAM entered its definitive phase on 1 January 2026, covering iron and steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen. Applicability depends on product scope and current legislation. European Commission: CBAM.
Put knowledge into practice
Work through emission factors, activity data collection, sample calculations in Excel and a final corporate carbon reporting project. The ten modules below describe the planned curriculum, totalling 60 hours.
What you will learn
- Calculate a business carbon footprint and prepare a sample greenhouse gas inventory
- Analyse emissions from factory, production and business activities
- Explore ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14067 through practical examples
- Support data preparation for CBAM reporting
- Develop emission reduction projects and strategies
- Contribute to sustainability and green transformation processes
- Carry out the core steps of corporate carbon and environmental reporting
Who is it for?

2026 income data in Türkiye
Eleman.net reports an average monthly figure of TRY 47,600 for sustainability specialists. The TRY 76,200 figure on Kariyer.net represents average candidate salary expectations, not confirmed earnings. The sources use different methods and are not directly comparable.
The programme source document gives illustrative project fees of TRY 35,000–55,000 for corporate carbon footprint calculation/reporting and TRY 95,000–140,000 for product carbon footprint/LCA work. These are not independently verified market rates or net earnings. Tax, software, fieldwork, staffing and other expenses must be considered. Product carbon footprint and LCA work require advanced expertise.
No job placement, salary or income is guaranteed. Earnings vary with experience, profession, language skills, practical competence and project scope. Figures refer to 2026 and may change.
